Monitoring & Evaluation
Pragya is a Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) professional based in Nepal, working since 2016 in international development. Her experience covers evaluation and research with UN agencies, international and national NGOs, and consulting firms, focusing on disaster, displacement, land rights, agriculture, empowerment, and gender-based violence (GBV).
She has contributed to evaluations and learning assignments for organisations such as UNICEF, SDC, ICIMOD, the Global Fund, and IIED, applying both qualitative and quantitative methods, including Outcome Harvesting, Cluster Randomised Controlled Trials (C-RCT), and the Women’s Empowerment in Agriculture Index (WEAI).
Pragya holds a Master’s in Development Studies and a Bachelor’s in Environmental Science. She is skilled in data collection and analysis tools such as SurveyMonkey, Kobo Toolbox, MAXQDA, and Excel, and is passionate about using evidence to strengthen inclusive development and resilience in Nepal and the region.
